ASAI President Jose Uribe is the founder and creative director of Pureblink. An Architect by trade—and born storyteller—Jose has been a part of the Canadian Arch Viz industry for almost two decades. He brings his quintessential passion and drive to ASAI and is proud to lead this year’s Architecture in Perspective 36 Conference and the International Architectural Illustration Competition.
After an unprecedented year that has challenged the very essence of urban living and social interaction, we’ve been presented with a series of questions that make us wonder about the future of our habitat and the need for new kinds of homes, office, retail, institutional and event spaces, as well as the general future of our cities.
We invite all traditional and digital artists to dream big and take part in the thematic category of this year’s Architecture in Perspective competition.
Submit your very best now: Deadline is July 30th, 2021.
ASAI's goal is to raise the standards of architectural drawing, and bring awareness to the general public of this type of work. We invite you to become a member and join a long standing community of like minded industry leaders.
Architecture in Perspective, an annual international competition, exhibition and catalogue which has included work by many of the most accomplished contemporary architectural illustrators from around the world. Each year approximately sixty pieces are chosen for exhibition by a jury of respected
professionals in the fields of architecture, illustration, photography, fine art, or design education. The artwork deemed to be the year’s most outstanding work is accorded the organization’s highest award, The Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize. By providing not only award recognition, but also a forum for the practitioners of this art form, the American Society of Architectural Illustrators has focused attention on an increasingly diverse, yet refined level of work. With a large international
membership, the work of the Society’s members has become the touchstone for many of the most eloquent voices and hands in the field.
