In this compact presentation Aleksander Novak-Zemplinski will talk about about the universal rules of composition that almost never change regardless of the technique, the tools or the medium we use in contemporary illustration and design work. We will also touch upon the parallels between architectural illustration and fine art and possible predictions of the evolution of this profession in the future.

Aleksander Novak-Zemplinski is a graduate of the UCLA Department of Architecture & Urban Design. In 2005 founded an illustration and design company bioLINIA.

The illustrations produced by bioLINIA have won many awards including the 2012 Hugh Ferris Memorial Prize. bioLINIA has provided imagery to many winning projects in high-profile architectural competitions around the world
